Book Haul!

Hello fellow book-lovers!

 

I went a little bit "book-mad" yesterday and today. My excuse is that I have so many books on my Goodreads "to-read" list, and I have a book reading challenge on there which I aim to complete by the end of the year!

 

So, here is what I have purchased.

(The first two are from Sainsbury's , which by the way, do really good book deals! The following four are from Waterstones, and at the moment, they have a "buy 1 get 1 half price" deal on a lot of books!)

 

 

 

"The Haunting" by Alan Titchmarsh

This book has been catching my attention for a while, and it sounds like a good story...we shall see!

 

 

"Eeny Meeny" by M.J. Arlidge

I'm not a huge crime/detective/thriller book reader, not because I don't like them...because I do, I just can't read them at night-time. I'm a huge baby and I get scared VERY easily! This book, although it may be slightly scary for me, looks like a really good read. Expect a review soon!

 

 

"The Red House" by Mark Haddon

Not only did the blurb intrigue me, I also bought it because I really enjoyed reading "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time". I really want to broaden my reading genres and try everything I can, hopefully the book is as interesting as the blurb!

 

 

"Perfect" by Rachel Joyce

Okay, so not only does this book have such a nice cover and look to it, it also sounds like a very interesting story. I want to know how the two seconds can change everything.

 

 

"Looking for Alaska" by John Green

Yes, I have the "John Green bug", but who doesn't?! I've heard a lot about this book, and I've been meaning to read it for a while...let's hope it doesn't disappoint!

 

 

"Paper Towns" by John Green

"Another John Green book" you say? Yes! Again, I've been meaning to get it for ages, but now I've also heard that this is being adapted into a film. I'll probably go and see it, so I'll have to read the book first!

I want to know where Margo disappears to and who she really is, and it sounds like a sweet love story. Who doesn't love a good love story?!

 

 

So there we go! My book haul. This should keep me going for a little while! There will be reviews on all of these books at some-point in the near future, so stay tuned!
